TravelingAnna ShortFormErnie acookiecrumbles seangriffey litmusapp This is a general problem with a lot of the privacy measures. The things that check to make sure your stuff is seen by a human and not a bot are using the same vectors as gross invasive ad tech and now what?...

TravelingAnna ShortFormErnie acookiecrumbles seangriffey litmusapp IMO at end of the day I'd rather move towards privacy and push the anti-fraud measures away from 3rd parties that don't do it well anyway & towards publishers who exist on edge of interactions w/users. Increasingly best solution will be a direct relationship w/a trusted entity.

TravelingAnna ShortFormErnie acookiecrumbles seangriffey litmusapp And I think that's likely the best case scenario for a healthy information ecosystem. The people who get funded via ads are the people who are known and trusted by the advertisers, not untrustworthy unverifiable 3rd party systems.
