      1. I've also been getting a ton of mobile ads lately for mobile games where the ad combines sex and violence in creepy ways, to portray stuff that isn't in the game or related to the gameplay and in this case I also noticed an... interesting discount code. (Tumbler app, Android OS)

      I hate this shit because it feels like an ad designed not to directly convert. It's just trying to build some sort of weird brand in my head around zombies, "sexy" and puzzles, but for games that have almost nothing to do with any of that. (That game looks like this)

    These ads would *never* fly in TV or print. But creepy false advertising shit like this gets shown all the time for the Facebook Audience Network I guess, which hides behind the ad choices logo.
