Just finished 3 hours with our kind and wonderful IT people because I couldn't unlock my work laptop for an unclear reason. Investigated myself and pretty sure the problem is OSX has a badly documented character limit on login passwords setting a max of 31 characters?Permalink On twitter.com

The OSX system password field is super frustrating to deal with b/c once you get to character max visible in the field I have no idea if it has stopped taking input or not. It def lets you type *something* outside of visible feedback on the field, which is not great.Permalink On twitter.com
