BenFischerSBJ Yeah, which isn't even really a good measure because as the old joke goes 'what do you call the person who graduated at the bottom of their MD class? doctor'. I don't even know what factors to decide on really... like I don't think more research papers really can == better care?

BenFischerSBJ And Zocdoc turns it into this weird Yelp consumer-rating system which... is no particularly good indicator of except for wait time & quality of non-core staff? Even specialized drs treat a wide set of issues. Someone w/a good experience w/an unrelated issue isn't a useful tell.

BenFischerSBJ Especially when you have a symptom and not a diagnosis, then even something like research papers isn't good for anything other than telling you the directional bias of their examination, which is just asking me to find people who confirm my Google searches, which isn't great.
