        alextcone True, but at the same time, that's over what other browsers are doing which is just turning *everything* off. A lot of people seem, to me, to be misidentifying the problem of consumers interest in privacy as an attack by Google...

      alextcone If we really want to find a solution that isn't just magnifying Google's dominance, I wonder if the better solution is a future where we embrace privacy universally, not try to scrape back functionality for which we are going to eventually have to fight countermeasures.

    alextcone I just see a lot of smart people putting in a ton of time and effort solving a problem that is going to put them at odds with the consumers who are supposedly the ones we want interacting with ads and that type of arms race has already been churning and it got us to here.
