alextcone I'm not a fan of all of Google's proposals, but I don't think that's a fair description of them or the process up to this point. That said, the issues we face are due to many of the parties in-system being forced to change after failing to self-regulate, so my trust isn't high...On twitter.com

alextcone After spending years seeing ad tech companies lie, bullshit, malfunction and cover it up, and promise literally impossible things, I don't feel great about the main security measure being them promising they won't abuse their access or run a hash table.Permalink On twitter.com

alextcone It has even been reported that ad tech companies discard and ignore consent strings. With those as the base table stakes on some of these proposals... hard to see trusting them as part of the solution.Permalink On twitter.com
