      dkiesow He does make his data available and, without any official comment from NYT, it seems reasonable to draw assumptions based on data and present them to others in this fashion, making them easy to dispute if someone else sees a different story in the data...

    dkiesow & it doesn't seem to do any harm to me? Like let's say he's 100% right? What's the harm? And if he's 100% wrong, and these are the product of an obscure editorial process... also what's the harm? I think it's fine to observe, draw conclusions, report and make your data available
