r2rothenberg aripap Besides the fact these things to not individually track you, do not follow you, & do not leak data when you pick them up, direct junk mail has clear opt-outs defined under national law... so I'm not sure that's the comparison you want to make in defense of digital ads.

r2rothenberg aripap I can opt out of receiving junk mail permanently under FTC regulations and there is theoretical legal remedies for companies that ignore my opt out.
