    ShortFormErnie I think if we could generally agree to make forum experiences slightly less than real time we could prob build a forum system that cut costs significantly. But most are making server requests on every page and the more use they get the more server requests must be uncached.

      ShortFormErnie A static style site builds much more predictably and t/f is so much cheaper. I can keep costs pretty low on that basis. I have long been playing with how static approaches can make cheaper hosting and there's def a lot of room to create savings vs standard website CMS systems.
