What is the point of GoT prequel? It isn't like Star Wars where we don't really know what happened before the events in the show... we know exactly what happened before GoT, in fact uncovering that was one of the show's major arcs!Permalink On twitter.com

It's particularly boring because we already know exactly where all these characters are going to end up. Who cares? It's like doing a Star Trek prequel on the origins of the Dominion... why? The point of their existence within the narrative has already been fulfilled.Permalink On twitter.com

If you must do a prequel... why do it with the people who built up to the first book... why not explore something interesting that wasn't well established in the show? Why not take us to Dorne, where history is less clear and also there's a different set of visual elements.On twitter.com
