ShortFormErnie AmyVernon I feel you man, as a paranoid backer-upper I've made he mistake of putting .git folders in Dropbox, even without node folders, and it drives my computer crazy with each sync. Dropbox badly needs exclude rules that can be applied across an entire account and specific folders.

ShortFormErnie AmyVernon My windows box is stuck in an infinite loop of syncing git folders now, even though I turned off those folders with selective sync. I basically operated out of my Dropbox folder exclusively before I realized I needed a separate git projects folder.

ShortFormErnie AmyVernon Because of how Dropbox runs so much behind the scenes, it's really hard to notice I've done something I shouldn't until a new sync.
