      ShiraOvide dccampfin LaurenGoode I agree that apps can, in theory, provide greater security, but in practice almost every app leaks tons of data across the device and to the app's creators, some of whom get quite nefarious in using it. Meanwhile the open web is actively moving towards a much more private model.

    ShiraOvide dccampfin LaurenGoode I 100% agree the web needs to provide more baseline privacy and I can easily see a future where the end of 3p cookies and the creation of supporting tech could build a private internet more dependably than the app ecosystem ever could.
