    I've said it before and I'll say it again... Facebook's biggest threat is an inability to recruit engineering talent. If working at Facebook means you can't sleep at night, publicly quitting is the most powerful tool you have to force FB to change. dseetharaman/1314336778208178176?s=19

      At this point Facebook is long past the point where change can be done internally without the threat of a company-altering change in its environment. There are only two ways that will happen: regulation, and starving it of effective staff.

        And if you're paid to be an engineer at Facebook, you've got fkoff money. Use it, change the company via the only real tool you have: the allocation of your time, energy and passion.

          So much of Facebook's PR is clearly focused inward. What they do, they do for you, anonymous Facebook engineer. The only way they will know it isn't working is if you leave.
