      We live in a capitalist society where our only real collective power is purchase power, where the market is entirely unanchored from reality, and ads are the treadmill on which it all runs.

        Ads will be there and be a huge chunk of spending from now until the end of capitalism or capitalism triggering the heat death of the universe early. For better or worse. Unless our solution is revolution, we have to account for and plan for advertising in any attempt at change
