                  1. Ok my stream is only an empty chair now and I gotta say... I am not sure what chair it is. Not a Steelcase, as it lacks their distinctive arm rests which have flatter tops and more less rounded corners. Nor does it have the wide upper back of many of the current Herman Millers.

The stiff wave in the back shape along with the slight taper make me think it may still be a HM chair though. like a Cosm model perhaps, but the arms are still wrong for that. And most of the HM models of that type use a particular y shape frame for the back.

I really keep coming back to the arm rests though. Makes me think it is either a model that's pretty old and isn't showing worn (most modern office chairs go for flatter tops) or potentially inexpensive.
oh my god twitter doesn’t include alt text from images in their API

Ah ha, it looks like you are correct! I was right that it is an older model, the Celle was around in 2005 and it is significantly less expensive, at a suggested price under $700, cheap for an office chair! scribandotcom/1288578394947350528

Awarded a design prize in 2005 - hermanmiller.com/products/seating/office-chairs/celle-chairs/design-story/ Suggested retail price - store.hermanmiller.com/office/office-chairs/celle-chair/2195937.html?lang=en_US Surprised we're seeing such a relatively low key chair!

(Also, credit where credit is due: Herman Miller has such a distinctive design sensibility it was easy to figure out that it was likely one of theirs, even if it was harder to figure out which exact model.)

Also... an interesting little note on chair design... I'm pretty sure that chair is the only one that has deployed armrests. Everyone else appears to be in arm-less chairs.

Mby Zuck has arms on his chair? Hard to tell. I dunno why his camera is so close up to him.
