joshsternberg ShortFormErnie Jon_Christian It was such a great idea! My fav part is it considers not just the philosophy of looping but also what it means to be ethical even if there is no judge or consequence and then takes it one further and asks what it means even to manipulate people outside of the loop from inside.

joshsternberg ShortFormErnie Jon_Christian I found it fascinating b/c in many ways it is a very similar story to Groundhog Day, but philosophically it is almost an entirely inverse approach.

joshsternberg ShortFormErnie Jon_Christian There's a scene at the end of the 2nd act where Samberg's character explicitly notes that what they do within the loop matters because *they* have to live with it and then the film contrasts it with how he treated Sarah that is basically perfect.
