  1. No doubt we face down a constitutional crisis around the election but also I suspect we underestimate the power the electoral system gives to states filled with people who have spent last week lining up with assault rifles against a pretend antifa invasion force.

      Like yeah, this shit is Veep on Nightmare Mode and we have a chance to live through basically the total failure of democracy in America, but also there's a chance he might legit win on the basis of these alternate reality land people turning out to vote.

          What's scarier, he stays in office because the system wasn't built well enough *or* because it was built to do shitty things only too well? Yeah it's the 2nd thing and we continue to report on the world like that isn't a genuine possibility.

              Also I'm so tired because even if everything works like clockwork the Democrats as a party are so fked up and so our best case scenario has somehow become B*den as the president.
