      pilhofer I agree, this is sort of my point, we're talking about a broad policy. The trustworthiness of Facebook is irrelevant. If it's the right idea, then it is worth supporting in all contexts and calling Facebook on when they don't execute...

    pilhofer If Facebook were then to execute in an untrustworthy manner that's an entirely different issue with a whole different set of solutions, economic pressure, courts could get involved, or some other measure. But we can't really push for or against a policy based on one player.
