    jason_kint dkiesow Ben S. I mean I wouldn't expect to read it in the piece, but I would expect the piece to be informed by the level of research that such a piece would require.

      jason_kint dkiesow NYT has a whole research, library and archives operation. They have their own librarians. I expect an op-ed writer to be using them just as much as a reporter.
