          1. It will create a lot of bullshit artist companies who claim to be more invasive while being technically incapable of doing so, par for the ad tech course unfortunately. dherman76/1232315898628837376

Ad tech is already filled with companies that promise technology and tracking they are unable to deliver and then they juice the numbers, partner with other companies ill incentivized to check their work, and payout for certification that is little more than bribes.

Surprise: it will continue post cookie. The incentives to lie and the capacity of clients to detect bs will remain unchanged.

I will never forget, while at a previous gig, the multi million dollar viewablity verification company whose engineers accidently let slip that their code only worked on IE, then told me they'd fix the numbers for $300/mo and responded to my questions with a demand I sign an NDA.

While the death of third party cookies will not stop companies like that from lying, it will make the web a safer & more private place. So don't listen to anyone who would tell you ad tech promises are a reason not to end 3p. Adtech aims become more invasive no matter what.

Like what, you think if this didn't happen the next generation of ad tech was going to self regulate and become *less* invasive? LOL
