    trekonomics Did you ever see the documentary about transition between TOS and TNG? It was fascinating how many of the writers clashed with Roddenberry over his instructions that there be no interpersonal conflict between Starfleet crew members because they live in a utopia without conflict.

      trekonomics I think it's one of the reasons why they leaned so heavily on admirals going crazy/people being possessed in TNG.
