      Also, if you have more than 30 secs, unskipable, of preroll on a less than 8 min video, then you are also doing it wrong there too.

    I mean is the ultimate top down approach the way to solve this problem, a problem entirely within the capability of... say... an ad server... to solve? Sure, it is *a* way, though not the best way. Also all those thousands of intervening ad tech companies could do something.

        Also, amusingly, this won't change shit for OTT or any publisher or platform that stitches in ads server-side via DAI. There are three big companies providing DAI video ad tools and I bet you can guess the name of one of them!
