Almost done with my first week in Europe and wow is GDPR a joke here or what? From what I've seen so far, pretty much every American company is more worried about it than their EU counterparts?

I've been on and off multiple websites all week and I've only had the opportunity to opt-out *once*.

Flip side: I am in Spain and they are *really* into QR codes here, which is crazy, because I thought QR codes were dead, but they are everywhere, bus stops, art, trains. A little kid scanned a QR code of a poem on the train yesterday, it was wild.
