        It's hard to imagine pretending opposition to reconstruction was about economics, or pretending redlining didn't exist, as having anything other than a huge impact on the children educated by these texts.

                I'm just thinking about all the wealthy tech people moving to Texas lately, their record (as a group) of already questionable racial and gender logic, and their rich kids growing up with these textbooks and I'm not feeling very hopeful for the future.
