                      1. It is a perfectly reasonable model to work off but wow that Max Lord sure is Tr*mpian.

Also, I really hope we're not setting up Wonder Woman to kill Max Lord again just because it exists in the comics, because it was a bad idea then and an even worse idea without the 100s of comics of context needed to make it even slightly make sense.

I mean, no Blue and Gold, no Checkmate, no OMAC, & there is no space to hit any of those beats in film context. It's too much, short of an Avengers-level 20+ film cycle. And I don't think audiences will sit around for that storyline, and not just because large chunks were meh.

Also like... We had a while film that climaxed with Superman killing someone and... like no consequences. What would be the point? The Snyderverse robbed all narrative potency a scene like that would have in a film, even if they could pull off the setup.

That said: DC's Cinematic Universe should totally be pulling in Checkmate, the version in the 00-era comics has far more interesting narrative possibilities than SHIELD ever did.

I was always surprised Snyder didn't pull them in, because it could stop easily be deformed for his approach and the stories he was chasing but honestly, I think he just didn't know they existed.

If there is one thing post-Snyder I am feeling increasingly sure of it is that the guy never got around to reading many comics and didn't care for almost all of the ones he did.

While I'm in this track: Shazam proved the audience is ready for a Blue and Gold feature film in a similar tone. Just putting that out there.

Also, most of the Brother Eye storylines were incredibly bad, but as we deal today with an ever more relevant fear of AI and surveillance, it would be super interesting to use the pieces there shaped into something better, especially in a Batman film.

Anyway, looking forward to the new WW film. Hope DC gets its shit together. Also, give me a rollicking space adventure with no time on Earth for a Green Lantern cinematic reboot please.

Ok... One last thought: cast The Rock as Booster Gold.
