  1. It's easiest to understand Facebook if you think of it as a small independent nation rich in a desirable resource. Its citizens are it's employees, its users are its exports. That really gives you the tools to understand its actions.

        That's the thing about Zuck speeches, he's a world leader not talking to us, but to an audience of his citizen/employees & also countries deciding to balance their need for access to his resources against global policy initiatives which render his regime ethnically unpalatable.
