    @ThirtySixCups That's not how web advertising works. YouTube sells almost all its inventory programmatic, with auto bidding driving prices, and the more supply there is the lower the price.

      @ThirtySixCups More than that, it is user targeted, so the only thing that matters is the count of users WSJ would advertise to, which is not this audience, so that impact is irrelevant. Also, a single creator, even the most popular one, is not comparable to the whole of views on YouTube.

        @ThirtySixCups Generally, this would be the least effective way to change YouTube ad pricing, but beyond that there's a separation between the business side and editorial side of journalistic organizations that means WSJ would never operate like that
