    JohnT15 EeDiva_ Twitter I'd bet someone you know is replying at the tweets. I follow activist folks who do this. It keeps pulling aholes into my feed via their responses. I block or mute the aholes. It's indeed an attempt to get more engagement & also a clear indicator that Twitter doesn't get its users

      JohnT15 EeDiva_ Twitter It's selecting replies to show you, I think, based on some calculation of the stats of both responder and tweet they are responding to.
