charlesarthur pilhofer Last time I worked with a pub who purchased traffic from one of the top chum cos I ran independent verification & found at a rate of 12-14c per click ~80% of the traffic we purchased was probably not human, or from sites that sent us more traffic a month then they saw in a year.

charlesarthur pilhofer We received credits back from the company, it did not argue with us about the quality or humanity of the traffic. We used those credits for the next month, same thing happened, we kept doing this month after month with the same results.

charlesarthur pilhofer I understand these companies know about this issue and have invested in ML to resolve it, but I personally find this approach unlikely to have any success. However, most of their clients don't care to, or lack technical capacity, for verification, so not much incentive to fix.
