Starting to seem that "Nazis bad" is not a 'political' stance and publications that punish reporters for holding that opinion are going to get called out.
-
"Nazis bad" is an existential stance. It's like how saying "I would prefer not to be brutally murdered by either individuals or the state" is not a political stance. That's not politics and if that is a reporter bias it is one you want your reporters to have IMO.
-
If 'don't go murdering people for being different' is politics then you are doing politics wrong. JUST MY OPINION.

"Arts criticism comes from the heart and the gut; cutting out the human parts—our opinions—leaves the whole thing bloodless. I could never separate the personal from the political, nor do I have the luxury of pretending I can." cjr.org/special_report/npr-kim-kelly.php
