How much of Yahoo's search traffic is just purchased traffic for arbitrage these days? How much traffic are they buying for these ads to be showing up so constantly for me? At least this ad prompt doesn't pretend to be anything but a search page.

Yahoo continues to arbitrage ad-only search pages through content marketing platforms, with an ever expanding set of topics. Some human is buying these ad placements. There's no way I know of that Yahoo could automatically extend their inventory this way.

It has to be someone *at* Yahoo just juicing SERP numbers right? Why would an advertiser basically buy the same ad twice?
