    heathr amandafortini @abraham_jewett replyall Yes. Pretty much. Also, it's much cheaper to spy on you and your family in a million places and collate that data for targeting than it is to listen in. Voice to text is all not super accurate and computationally expensive. Data joins are cheap.

      heathr amandafortini @abraham_jewett replyall It's worth noting that I block sketchy ad networks and Facebook pixel with Ghostery and get none of that creepy stuff. You can still support publications, see many ads, and block the shitty behavior. There's a middle ground with a less creepy internet, but it takes work.
