    This isn't a rhetorical, she and Dem leadership are very willing to use language that paints him as incompetent. Why not do what their job requires in that situation?

      This is basic 'do the job' shit. It frustrates me that the primary hesitation seems to be because history generally erases congressional incompetence, short of physically striking your peers, except where it touches a president.

        If I was a baseline Republican or centrist, I'd be looking at this and thinking it's political rhetoric from the Dems that their unwillingness to follow to with the suggested action indicates to be politicking for face instead of a reflection of the truth.
