  1. Perhaps I'm misremembering but in an undergrad cybersec course we had an ex-FBI guy who talked about a program in which agents would determine which celebrity a criminal most looked like from witnesses and use that celebrity's face in interviews. Gothamist/1129502613077151745

      This sounds a lot like that, but only expanded to Machine Learning. If so, it is yet another fascinating incident of bad human logic programming machines badly.
