      Also, Fringe... I guess? I mean the ending is good but it would have been better a season earlier. The last season was mostly unnecessary. Same with Charmed, which had a good ending and then went on for one or two more seasons.

        Star Trek Next Generation came to a good end. but did not have a good ending which are two different things. Thus the sequence of increasingly bad films following after it went off the air.

          SG-1, weirdly has the exact same issue. And also involves time travel.

            But yeah, the more I think about it, the more I think the only absolutely flawlessly pulled off, well-paced, and 100% satisfactory ending was DS9.

              The worst ending of a TV show in the scope of that TV show was freaking BSG which was a monumental disaster that managed to ruin the series retroactively.
