      But also is anyone ever disappointed when one of these issues shows up & you go into the data and there is zero of note for you personally? Like I really was hoping there's be a creepy 'Alexa recorded a whole conference call' in my logs. But nope, just like a 'will it rain'*1000s

        Personal experience is not a proxy for overall system issues, I know. But I was just like sorta disappointed. I've got a first gen Alexa and had it for a while, maybe if I dig a little more.

          I also wonder how different my experience of Voice Controlled tools / assistants is considering I was trained on and had to train the recognition of Dragon Naturally Speaking as a kid. Talking to machines is def. a learned skill one can improve at.

            That would be a cool academic study, how people with significant voice-to-machine control training differ in their use of voice assistants.
