    dmarti @veronicaripson Yeah, the answer is PWA-style & it has been made clear that the current appstore process on both devices is insufficient for protecting users (many apps caught up in ad malware sweeps), so forcing apps to mechanically expose their APIs to the OS for security is as effective

      dmarti @veronicaripson There is a longer and more technically detailed version of this conversation but I think this is one that is just too much for Twitter. But basically I'm with Don 100% here, the tools took some time to catch up, but now app stores are only worse for consumers, not better.
