      metaviv jbenton nayafia Yeah, I think it is really worth discussing more in depth than just "Open/not open" and I think it is also worth digging into the lack of tools we have to really embed licenses like CC into something like a podcast episode or RSS for mechanical parsers to operate on.

    metaviv jbenton nayafia Beyond that though, I'd argue that strict openness requires that open content be transacted upon only in open systems. Otherwise there is a loss of control over what is open to which people.
