  1. I think ad blocking as a consumer choice is something to be respected, but lately I've been wondering if the products involved are actually aiming at the problem the majority of users want solved, or are solving and then going past the goalpost.

      Like, is what users want 'no ads' or just out of the shit experience that is forced on them through crappy ad tech? Because those two things need not be connected. And a product could be built to solve for the second that hurts publishers a lot less than full on ad blocking.
