Also annoying in New Twitter: the timeline populates up, over your current in-view tweet. Which means it is very easy to lose the "What's happening" field and hard to get it back. I'm guessing this is why the Tweet button is floating on the bottom right?Permalink On twitter.com

It happens on replies as well, though less obviously. The prospect of a growing unstoppable upward scroll makes me a little queasy. I think the problem is compounded by the browser's invisible scroll bar. You know the tweets are sliding in up there, but no indicator by how much.On twitter.com
