    1. I'm on New Twitter where models appear to have been banished except when composing a tweet: my least favorite model.

Also still no word count you cowards? lol put seriously the shift of the trending panel to the right is the sort of move that will please users and result in basically no one ever going to a trending page, so I expect to see that reversed.

Why is the Reply button over there? And why is the Tweet button at the top. *No* that is *not* where you put an action button people.

The single column no split thread view is a clear tip o the hat to Twitter threaders, which is... not how the majority of users use Twitter, right?

Information density appears to be down, so Twitter designers are appearing to follow Fad Design as opposed to UX-backed Design. Can't wait for this and New Reddit to launch in the same week and the whole internet explode.

Interesting that New Twitter has two very mobile features, Night Mode and Data Saver (which apparently turns off automated lazy-loading).

I wonder if they are prepping to read at least the night mode value off of the device, something that is a suggested future browser feature.

The ability to see, on mouse-over of a user, if they are followed by people you follow is going to super useful. This is the first much needed quality of life feature I've seen in the new design.

That said, I can see this new design going live pretty much as it is. The problems in the UX are huge for Twitter's usability but not very visible to the average user. I suspect it won't result in huge negative feedback but just less users.

Very surprised the 'pull user-initiated playing video to the right' pattern isn't in the new design.
