      1. NYTimes discovered the majority of apps' business models. If this is a problem for you it isn't just third party weather apps. It's pretty much all apps.       I think a renegotiation of how this industry works is for the best. But the impact would be huge. If the Weather Channel loses I suspect the effects on every day users of the app store would be significant.

    Like... god knows, you'd likely have to rebuild Android from the ground up to keep it from ever reporting your location to Google. And that's the *Operating System*.
