TravelingAnna jarroddicker I've been surprised too! Especially since it is mostly just links to old stuff. I think we underestimate how many people really don't understand how useless so many of the sources of numbers in the web are. I know I've worked with execs at previous gigs who just didn't get it.

TravelingAnna jarroddicker But judging by the retweets and responses I think a lot of people realize it but just don't talk about it and didn't realize it was worth talking about until they saw other people interested in it.

TravelingAnna jarroddicker And there's a decent percentage of people who aren't capital M media but work with stuff that touches on it who know the performance of media and ads effects their livelihood and really don't understand anything about it and who are alarmed.

TravelingAnna jarroddicker Also, a few people are--rightfully IMO--connecting this to the larger problems being caused by social media in governments and politics that is happening in part because the numbers are bad and the mechanisms processing them are using bad numbers to decide what to show people.
