Matt_Kiser dansinker WTFJHT source Makes a lot of sense! I had individually linkable grafs on my blog for a year & the concept ties strongly w/the movements toward atoms of journalism & the blob-ification of content in authoring tools like WordPress's Gutenberg & Conde's atJSON github.com/CondeNast-Copilot/atjson

Matt_Kiser dansinker WTFJHT source As content moves increasingly towards being run/outputting as APIs and HTML template tools look at paragraphs less as blocks of HTML and more as presentational components the engineering community has pushed hard to break HTML into compositional elements via authoring tools.

Matt_Kiser dansinker WTFJHT source And yeah, Schema dot org totally has the tools to associate paragraphs as objects within a parent object that represents a larger article or post. It ties into how you can use itemprop to do in-context markup on paragraph tags.

Matt_Kiser dansinker WTFJHT source It is a *very* long term side project, but I'm fiddling w/static site generator GatsbyJS to try and create a process for deconstruction of posts into AtJSON standard. I think Gatsby's use of GraphQL could potentially be a lot more agile at weaving content components together.

Matt_Kiser dansinker WTFJHT source GatsbyJS Also there's a lot more Gatsby can do during build to alter files or bake new ones to shrink future build-times because it's just node underneath.
