Not only is it incredibly hard to get readers to interact with ads, but now they additionally feel *unsafe* interacting with ads. The only way to make interactive ads even close to work is if they are direct sold and the larger industry is pushing away from that.

There will never be a successful programmatic interactive ad campaign that doesn't start in a publisher native advertising shop. NEVER.
