    amywebb celrae newsbyschmidt ONAConf IMO: it's at about the level of asking users to install browser bars that click-under on a news site in order to game ad revenue. That at least would have the benefit of being unlikely to slag your device and likely be more profitable. But there are obvious reasons not to do it

      amywebb celrae newsbyschmidt ONAConf Like most crypto projects it also telegraphs itself as seeming to have little technical expertise and just building on top of the blockchain with standard tools. I don't even see the standard white paper on their site that is the norm for such projects.

        amywebb celrae newsbyschmidt ONAConf I think that even with lots of technical expertise in place, it's dangerous and it is unethical to open these doors without the right framing or tools. Like the release of Coin Hive led to serious problems for publishers due to coin-jacking, tech w/o controls is dangerous.
