This has to do with how they are handing off AMP now too.

Because Google is internally very engineer led, with a lot of self determination in what projects they work on, focused on peer review, and heavily involved in open source it makes their engineers particularly sensitive to peer feedback from external engineers.

What I'm saying is that it isn't useless to publicly criticize Google in particular points and if you're a fellow engineer you're practically obligated to do so when you think they're being evil.
