      BenMullin dicktofel jbenton Yeah I agree, money is ramping up at a really unprecedented rate in the podcasting world, but I do think audiences and therefore dollars are starting to flow towards big players. And I bet small players are feeling some crunch, at least vs their expectations.

    BenMullin dicktofel jbenton BuzzFeed is particularly vulnerable because it's traffic strategy needs a major shift. Panoply potentially the same? The problem comes from when they're optimized for Facebook and not search.

      BenMullin dicktofel jbenton I think Panoply divested it's podcasts too soon though. They were useful testbeds and Panoply must believe they've found THE way to monitize podcasts. I don't think they've hit it exactly right yet and they're going to have a harder time morphing their product in the future
