JackWellborn Ya. It was a bad version of Superman and an inappropriate use of the IP. I don't think Snyder wanted to make Batman tho, this has been his approach to all his films. It felt clear in the text, esp in SvB, that he saw Superman as the perfect venue to promote his BS Objectivism.On twitter.com

JackWellborn Snyder has seen superheroes and comics as a venue to recreate Ayn Rand plot points since the beginning and he's so into it he missed that the entire point of Watchmen was to mock that philosophy and made the satire straight.Permalink On twitter.com
