    1. Unpopular opinion: The X-Files really wasn't that good. Everyone remembers the few, maybe less than a dozen, really good episodes, but it's now at 11 seasons and most of that was pretty much crap.

    Fringe may have been somewhat derivative, but it was far more consistently good and way better on numerous technical levels. Whenever someone asks me if they should watch X-Files I tell them to just watch Fringe, it's basically the same experience with like... 90% less shit.
